Float Fishing Rates – Day Trips

To ensure guide availability, reservations should be made at least 3 days in advance. While last-minute “walk-ins” are welcome, we cannot guarantee guide availability on short notice.

Day trips include a licensed, experienced, professional guide, boat, shuttle service, fishing instruction, rods (if needed), terminal tackle such as flies, leaders & tippet, water, beverages, and snacks.

Full-day trips include lunch. We do not provide alcoholic beverages, however, you are welcome to bring your own, but please – no glass containers!

We are happy to assist you in securing lodging in the Lincoln, Ovando, or Seeley Lake area. Options include hotels, B&B, guest ranch, rental cabins, RV parks, and campgrounds.

Blackfoot River extended float-fishing trips are custom-tailored to suit your expectations and criteria!

Fishing Rates are based upon many different factors, such as the specific location(s), party size, number of days and nights, level of service desired, etc.

Smith River Fly Fishing MontanaSouth Fork Flathead River Trips:

7 days / 6 nights – Fully Guided 2×1 (2 anglers per 1 guide):  $7,500 per person

We Conduct these trips in July and August. These spectacular trips are in the heart of the Bob Marshall Wilderness and require 1 long day and 1 short day of horseback travel to get to the river where we begin our  50-mile float-trip adventure. You will not find better cutthroat trout fishing anywhere in the U.S., period! The South Fork is also one of the very few places in the lower 48 where you can legally fish for huge Bull Trout!  There are a very limited number of launch dates to choose from. The quoted price is based upon a 4-person occupancy. Please call for availability and details!

South Fork Flathead Trips are conducted under National Forest Service Permit #0596-0082.

Reservations

We try to accommodate “last minute” trips, but to avoid disappointment, you should make your reservations at least 30-60 days prior to your trip, therefore, ensuring the dates and guides will be available.  South Fork Flathead River trips should be reserved several months in advance! Unless other arrangements are made, a deposit of 50% of your trip price is required upon booking (only 25% is required if a reservation is made more than one year in advance, leaving the remaining 25% due six months prior to your trip). The remaining balance is due upon your arrival. In addition, your deposit is non-refundable but in the event you must cancel your trip, you may transfer your deposit to another trip, date, or party if redeemed within two years. Non-resident fishing licenses are $50 for a 2-day, $81 for a 10-day, and $111 for a full-season license. These fees include your Conservation License ($10) and AIS Prevention Pass ($15). You can purchase Here.
